They include previously revealed cast members Jennie Garth, Melanie Brown, and Wayne Newton. The rest of the cast consists of Jane Seymour, Marie Osmond, Floyd Mayweather, racer Helio Castronetes, soap star Cameron Mathison, model Albert Reed, actor Sabrina Bryan, model Joise Maran, and billionaire Mark Cuban.
However—surprise, surprise—TMZ’s “leaked” cast list was almost half bullshit. TMZ said that Aaron Carter, Lou Ferrigno, Nia Peeples, Richard Quest, and Gisele Bundchen would participate; they are not in the cast. TMZ got just four names right (besides the people who’d been revealed as cast members elsewhere): Seymour, Mayweather, Castroneves, and Bryan.
The explanation? The site “reported” yesterday that ABC “execs, fearing someone would leak the cast to TMZ, gave the show’s staff and crew names that may or may not be 100% accurate.” That’s honestly a brilliant excuse, especially the part about how ABC executives were specifically worried about TMZ; promote your brand and excuse your shoddy journalism at the same time.
