ArchivesThe winner of Dancing with the Stars 4, Apolo Anton Ohno, will join the show’s summer tour, which started today. However, he’ll only make five appearances over the 21-performance tour.
He’ll be in “Raleigh, N.C., on Saturday,” “in Hershey, Pa., on July 2; Bridgeport, Conn., on July 3; Wilkes Barre, Pa., on July 5 and Atlantic City, NJ, on July 6,” People magazine reports.
In a statement, Apolo said, “After the show I started training again for the Olympics but realized quickly that I couldn’t go on without at least one more week of Samba.” And whatever cash they were offering him to show up.
The tour features just four celebrities from all four seasons; six celebrities toured last winter. The summer tour also includes five of the dancers’ partners. The entire cast: Cheryl Burke, Drew Lachey, Edyta Sliwinska, Joey Fatone, Julianne Hough, Kym Johnson, Joey Lawrence, Joey McIntyre, and Louis Van Amstel. People also reports that “John Ratzenberger will also make a guest appearance in his hometown of Bridgeport.”
