Earlier yesterday, when TMZ first reported the incident, it said “reps for the show are denying that any incident has occurred.” They described the injury as “a muscle pull in Smirnoff’s back.”
During the actual live performance show, the biggest issue with their dance turned out to be the judges’ anger over his rule-breaking. Carrie-Ann told him, “I would appreciate it if you would respect the rules.”
