Dancing with the Stars 3 debut is the third-highest rated episode ever
ABC has done it again. The debut of Dancing with the Stars 3 was watched by an average of 20 million people,
Variety reports that the show’s “rating was the show’s third-best ever, topped only by its season one and season two finales.” That helped make Tuesday ABC’s “top-rated Tuesday night with adults 18-49 in almost three years and its most-watched Tuesday (excluding sports) in nearly five.”
However, The LA Times’ Channel Island blog reports that “the audience skewed somewhat on the gray side — during the first hour, ‘Dancing’ scored a 4.8 rating among adults aged 18-49, compared with a 5.8 for Fox’s medical drama ‘House.’”
