No Herman Cain for Dancing with the Stars, but other rumors abound
Dancing with the Stars’ 14th season won’t become a continuation of the reality show that has been the Republican presidential primary, as Herman Cain has rejected the show’s offer to dance. However, it would be awesome if Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum all agreed to participate; they could snipe at each other in their interviews and keep us entertained in-between debates.
Cain’s assistant told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he said no, joking, “He can’t dance in an eight-count. He can only dance in a nine-count.”
USA TODAY runs down other rumored contestants. Those people include Gavin DeGraw, Perez Hilton, Paula Deen, JWoww, and Kylie or Kendall Jenner. So, you know, really big stars, as usual. Football players Victor Cruz and Vince Young both said they’d been asked, but Cruz told producers no while Young deleted a tweet, suggesting he might be on.
The actual cast will be announced Feb. 28 on Good Morning America.
