Snooki won’t be on Dancing with the Stars, which is trying to get actual stars

For its 13th season, Dancing with the Stars is doing something incredible: searching for actual stars. Its cast is often filled with reality stars and virtually unknown people.

Following up on a TMZ report that said the show was seeking “more high profile” cast members, msnbc reported that a show “insider” confirmed that it “is aiming higher” with its casting, although that person acknowledged that “it might be a stretch to consider anyone they do get an A-lister.”

In a possibly related story, Snooki’s manager told RumorFix that reports that Snooki would be on this season are “not true.”
