ArchivesABC’s surprise summer hit Dancing with the Stars ends its run tonight with a finale at 9 p.m. ET. Before that, at 8, ABC will air last week’s episode, which saw NKOTB’s Joey McIntyre go home.
Despite being hosted by that Hollywood Squares toolbox Tom Bergeron, the series has seen ever-increasing ratings and even an attempt at ballot box stuffing.
Tonight, John O’Hurley and Charlotte Jorgensen will wield their quickstep routine against Kelly Monaco and Alec Mazo’s samba. Each couple will also freestyle. Monaco, who “just about flashed all of America” a few weeks ago when the straps on her dress broke, tells the Philadelphia Inquirer that her team “came in as the underdogs.”
