Bravos has renewed its Cirque du Soleil reality series, which recently won two Canadian Gemini awards. The new season, called Cirque du Soleil: Solstrom, “encompasses classic Cirque du Soleil acts with amazing new performances,” a Bravo press release says. That seems to imply that it won’t follow the same show development format as last season. The series begins airing in Canada Nov. 30 on CBC, but Bravo has yet to announce an air date in the US. A CBC press release says that “in every episode, viewers enter a world laced with elements from situation comedy, burlesque theatre, acts from Cirque du Soleil’s many live shows and special circus performances.”
