Bravo’s Cirque du Soleil Fire Within begins repeating entire season today.
Bravos’s Cirque du Soleil: Fire Within, which debuted quietly earlier this spring, repeats its entire 13-episode season twice this week. The show follows the eight months of preparation, tryouts, and rhearsals leading up to the debut of Varekai, Cirque’s newest live show. The reruns start at 1 a.m. ET this morning with the first and second episodes, continue at midnight tonight, and then alternate early morning time slots all week. On Saturday, the whole season reairs at a more manageable time, starting at 1:30 p.m. After it, Bravo airs the network debut of Varekai. It’s all part of the network’s Run Away with Cirque Week. After this weekend, the show falls back into a Monday night time slot, where it will air two episodes a week starting at 8 p.m.
+ review: “a low-key reminder of the formal differences between documentary and reality TV.”
