ArchivesMTV is moving its Real World/Road Rules Challenge to Thursday nights at 10 p.m. ET starting tonight with the debut of The Duel.
This season, 20 alumni head to Brazil where, according to MTV.com, “it’s every man and woman for themselves.” Of those 20, one quarter are “fresh meat” from the last Challenge: Casey, Diem, Eric, Evan, and Kenny. And John, Paula, Svetlana, and Tyler represent The Real World Key West, the most recent season to air. TJ Lavin is back as host to stumble through his lines, yo.
To promote the time change and the drama, MTV’s uploaded uncensored clips of dramatic moments from the new Challenge to YouTube—some of which use the username “shamelesspromotion.” At least they acknowledge it.
One video shows a mild confrontation between Tina and Beth, while in another Nehemiah asks Beth, “Why did you just give Tina a little bit of tongue”?. But the most dramatic clip comes courtesy CT, who screams “I’ll fucking kill you” to Wes.
