ArchivesThe 12th Challenge season begins tonight, and since the cancelled/on hiatus Road Rules no longer provides people to participate, producers had to look at other options. Thus, the Fresh Meat season was born, and it kicks off at 10 p.m. ET tonight.
Twelve of our favorite no-lifers, including Coral, Derrick, and Tonya, will be paired with 12 brand-new cast members who are basically just viewers. They’ll compete in ridiculously complicated but shoddily constructed challenges for $250,000, which will be divided among the two players on the winning team. Teams will be eliminated through a challenge called “Exile,” which will apparently be like a team-based gauntlet but just using a term from the most recent Survivor.
This season was filmed in Australia, where Wes was not attacked by a kangaroo. Once again, TJ Lavin returns to host by tripping over his lines and getting outraged when his merry band of attention whores demand more attention for themselves.
