The cast for the next season of The Real World/Road Rules Challenge will be selected by visitors to MTV.com. As the site says, “We’re letting YOU choose the teams for the next season of The Challenge. No longer will it be Real World vs. Road Rules or girls vs. guys—the next theme will be naughty vs. nice and you get to decide who will be on the ‘naughty’ team and who will be on the ‘nice’ team.” As TVGasm points out, “naughty” and “nice” are “Bunim/Murray’s euphemistic way of saying ‘Sluts, assholes, and idiots.’” TVGasm’s B-Side also makes a “plea to voters. Don’t try to sort players into ‘Naughty’ or ‘Nice’ categories. Think about the teams. What will be the most interesting to watch? Maybe one team should be all old people while another is young. Oooh, or maybe minorities against the white folk? At the very least, get people who hate each other on the same team.”
