Celebrity Mole Hawaii debuts tonight.
Anderson Cooper is out, as is Europe as a location, as are unknown players. But The Mole survives in the form of Celebrity Mole Hawaii, which debuts tonight on ABC at 10 p.m. The show, tapes of which apparently survived a fire, follows seven celebrities as they compete and try to figure out who the mole among them is; it’s hosted by Ahmad Rashad. Salt Lake City Weekly says the show “dumbs-down The Mole’s thinky international-spy motif into Fear Factor-lite.” The Palm Beach Post disagrees, saying while the show misses Anderson, it “entertains while making you think [and] is certainly worth watching.”
