ArchivesCBS kills The Will after one episode.
After airing a single episode, CBS has bailed on The Will, cancelling the series effective immediately. With 4.2 million viewers, it placed 79th, “making it CBS’ lowest-ranked show of the week,” according to the AP. This makes the series “thus joins a handful of other one-shot blunders in TV history.”
CBS announced this by way of a press release heralding “A SPECIAL REBROADCAST OF “COLD CASE,” SATURDAY, JAN. 15.” That’s in The Will’s timeslot, and the release says only that “This episode of COLD CASE replaces THE WILL, which has been pulled from the schedule.”
