Real World starts casting this weekend

Casting for the next season of The Real World—not the Key West season, but the one that will likely tape next spring—starts this weekend.

Tomorrow, open casting calls will be held in Tampa, San Diego, and Lousiville. Anyone between the ages of 18 and 24 can apply, meaning that if you remember watching the first season of The Real World on MTV, you’re probably way too old.

Here are the cities producers will visit this fall; for specific information and updated schedules, see Bunim-Murray’s web site:

  • Sept. 17: Tampa, San Diego, and Louisville
  • Sept. 20: Pittsburgh, Lincoln, NE, and Laramie, WY
  • Sept. 24: Tempe, Richmond, and Memphis
  • Oct. 1: Boston
  • Oct. 8: Berkeley
  • TBA: Madison, Dallas, Atlanta, LA, New York
