Bravo promotes Frances Berwick to president, acknowledging her incredible track record

Frances Berwick has been promoted to president of Bravo Media, up from executive vice president and general manager. She has been with Bravo since 1996, and has developed and produced everything from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy to Top Chef and Project Runway, plus more recent shows such as My Life on the D-List and Flipping Out.

Bravo’s press release notes that she’s “[o]ne of Bravo’s longest tenured employees,” and “introduced high-profile original series including Michael Moore’s ‘The Awful Truth,’ the Emmy Award winning ‘Cirque du Soleil: Fire Within,’ ‘Bravo Profiles,’ and ‘The It Factor.’” More recently, “as General Manager, Berwick presided over a 33 percent increase in original programming” and “a 30 percent increase in total revenue to the network since 2008.”

In other words, she’s ridiculously talented and responsible for a number of the best reality series of the past decade. Bravo, Frances.
