Bravo’s week-long reality documentary, TLC’s Residents debut tonight.
Bravo follows its successful summer of reality TV with a week-long documentary series that it says “provides an in-depth look inside the genre that has revolutionized television” including “interviews from some of Reality TV’s top producers, casting directors, editors and stunt producers including; Mark Burnett, Matt Kunitz, Arnold Shapiro, Jeff Probst, Allison Grodner, and Joe Rogan.”
The NW Indiana Times says it “shines a much-needed light into the dark secrets of America’s latest primetime pastime.” Each hour-long episode debuts at 9 p.m. ET and later repeats.
Meanwhile, TLC debuts Resident Life tonight at 9 p.m. ET, a series that “follows a team of young doctors at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.” The 13-episode series, which USA TODAY calls “a gritty medical series,” was taped over six months at Vanderbilt, which views the show as free advertising, according to The Tennessean.
