Burnett: North Shore is “not all about surfing, it’s about the characters.”
The WB’s Boarding House: North Shore is “not all about surfing, it’s about the characters, which is what I like best,” says Mark Burnett, who came on board the show for post-production to help with editing. The series debuts June 18 at 9 p.m. ET and follows seven surfers competing in the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing in Hawaii. Burnett says “[t]he surfing contest raises the stakes. They don’t want to lose anyway, and they especially don’t want to lose on television.”
