Big Brother 9’s Matt arrested for beating up, threatening pregnant fiancee; indicted for selling drugs with Adam
Big Brother 9’s Matthew McDonald was indicted today for being part of winner Adam Jasinksi’s drug ring, and separately was arrested for threatening his pregnant fiancée who he’d previously been arrested for beating up.
Today, Matt “was indicted in federal court in Massachusetts today for allegedly participating in a drug ring run by … Adam Jasinski. According to the indictment, McDonald was involved in the alleged drug ring from April 2008 to October 2009,” TMZ reports. He “faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.”
Meanwhile, Matt “was initially arrested April 18” after police say he “punched his seven-weeks pregnant fiancée in the face, kicked her repeatedly dragged her around her Boston apartment and tried to strangle her,” and then was arrested April 20 “after relatives of his fiancé claimed he launched a campaign of threats against them and the victim in hopes of getting the domestic violence charges dropped,” The New York Daily News reports.
A police report says he said to his pregnant girlfriend, “I hope the baby dies and hope u [sic] have a miscarriage.” TMZ says that police “observed visible bruising on [her] arms, neck and collarbone”; Matt claims self-defense, while his girlfriend says he threatened to kill her father and told her, “Shut the fuck up or I’ll punch you in the face.”
On Big Brother, Matty became the first member of the jury after mentally abusing his partner Natalie and was involved in other drama that makes no sense two years later. After the show concluded, he denied that the cast had a post-season orgy.
