Big Brother 6

Big Brother 6 debuts tonight; head of household blog confirmed

CBS kicks off its sixth version of Big Brother tonight at 8 p.m. ET. The show continues Saturdays at 8 and Tuesdays at 9. Still bafflingly hosted by Julie Chen, the series will feature 14 houseguests this year, all of whom will be in “secret” alliances with one other cast member. There’s also the new, two-story house (of which Reality TV World has photos). Also returning are the live feeds ($30 for three months) and Marcellas Reynolds’ online talk show.

In a press release, CBS confirms that the Head of Household will be blogging both text and digital photos taken inside the house. That blog will be apparently published on CBS.com, making the alleged blog of cast member Michael appear to be a hoax.

What will the summer bring? More drunken knife foreplay? More game-ending stupidity? Who knows. But I, for one, am definitely, embarrassingly excited.
