Well, that didn’t take long. On the second episode of Big Brother 5, one of the big Project DNA twists was revealed. Michael quickly realized that Jennifer was his half-sister, and then told her during the episode that aired last night. During the show, Michael told her, and “Jennifer [was] pensive. Suddenly Michael’s hours of unprovoked and borderline inappropriate questions about her father make sense. Still, she doesn’t believe.” Eventually, producers gave each sibling letters proving that they were related. The Cincinnati Post says that it was “a cruel trick for a reality show to use the very private secrets of this family for entertainment and ratings purposes.” As such, it’s “contrived and cruel” and exists just to “manipulate and humiliate contestants.”
