Big Brother 5’s Scott was in Playgirl; twists involve houseguests related by blood.
As if the incestuous nature of Big Brother 5 wasn’t enough, producers have decided to make this year’s twists related to genetics: two of the houseguests are half-siblings but have no idea that the other even existsand one of the houseguests is actually a pair of twins who switch places on a regular basis. How will this add drama? Executive producer Arnold Shapiro takes a break from killing his career and tells Jam! Showbiz, “It will be interesting for us, the viewers and the houseguests to see if the complexion of the house changes when the link is finally discovered.” He also says he stays offline to avoid the criticism by “amateur armchair producers” of his asshat, borderline abusive decisions. “I get blamed for everything so I let [co-executive producer] Alison (Grodner) scan the Internet and keep me up to date,” he says. Meanwhile, Big Brother 5 houseguest Scott Long apparently already had experience taking off his clothes for the camera even before entering the house. As the non-work safe Playgirl scans at JokersUpdates show, he let it all hang out for three Playgirl photos. Ironically, or maybe not, 26-year-old Scott—whose last name is, you’ll recall, Long—lists “exposure” as one of his reasons for going on the show.
