After unveiling a “secret” code, the explanation of which was broadcast over the Internet feeds, Chiara used the code to reveal a secret that not even her family knows: she is dating the senior vice president of Silverstein Properties, the company that leased World Trade Center One and Two, plus two other buildings, from the Port Authority. She also said that her relationship with Roger Silverstein is not exclusive; called his ex-wife “bipolar”; and said that while they were in LA so he could visit his children and ex-wife, she met the producers of Big Brother 3. Roger’s father, the owner of the company, once presented him with a Builder of Israel Award; also on the feeds yesterday, Chiara said, “If Amy gets HOH than we are more cooked than German Jews in the forties.” The Sun-Times suggests her comments “potentially slander” her subjects; the paper quotes producer Arnold Shapiro, who says, “As soon as the staff figured out the code, they blocked them [and cut off the feed]. They didn’t know what they were hearing until they interpreted it. As soon as they interpreted it, it was off.”
