Julie Chen gets another CBS job along with other reality show stars

Big Brother host Julie Chen is leaving one CBS show for another: She’ll co-host CBS’ new knock-off of The View, which has famous mothers as its cast, including a bunch of other reality stars: The Apprentice runner-up Holly Robinson Peete, America’s Got Talent judge Sharon Osbourne, and Dancing with the Stars contestant and Dance Your Ass Off host Marissa Jaret Winokur. Sara Gilbert and Leah Remini are also on the panel.

With the new show debuting this fall, Julie “will no longer serve as a daily anchor on ‘The Early Show,’ though she will continue to appear on the newscast,” The Los Angeles Times reports.

On the as-yet-untitled series, the “panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities who will examine topical events and contemporary issues through the eyes of mothers” and “was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer,” according to CBS.
