Big Brother 11 ratings increase

Big Brother 11’s ratings are increasing after losing viewers earlier this season, although it was gaining 18- to 34-year-olds.

Ronnie’s eviction drew more viewers. Week to week, the live eviction show increased 10 percent among viewers 18 to 49, and was up four percent in viewers, with 240,000 more people watching. That makes it this season’s “best Thursday delivery in viewers and ties its best Thursday delivery in adults 18-49,” CBS said in a press release. On Tuesday, when all five broadcast networks aired a reality show at 9, 7.09 million people watched, while 7.18 million watched Sunday.

The series “was the only original program to make much ratings noise on Sunday, Variety reported, noting that the show was “up slightly from the previous week and taking advantage of a stronger lead-in from ‘60 Minutes.’”
