ArchivesAmerica’s Player, the relatively lame experiment from the show’s eighth season last summer that let viewers decide how one player voted and how he should perform stupid-ass tasks, will return to Big Brother 10 tonight, but in a limited form.
One houseguest “will be offered the chance to become America’s Player for one week. If they accept, they will do America’s bidding and will have the opportunity to win a total of $20,000,” CBS said in a press release. It’s not exactly clear how that houseguest will be selected, but it says that the person with “the most votes” will become America’s Player.
Producers dropped the twist for the ninth season, but suggested it could come back in another form. The key seems to be the “one week,” rather than a whole season, which resulted in a few fun moments but otherwise just a lot of arrogance and eyebrow furrowing from America’s Player.
