what happened to Eden’s Crush, Scene 23, O-Town and Flickerstick?
What happened to the four groups spawned on U.S. reality TV shows? Entertainment Weekly has the lowdown. Two of the groups, Eden’s Crush and Scene 23, born on Popstars and Popstars 2 respectively, broke up earlier this year after their record label went under. London-Sire also released albums by Guster, Aphex Twin, The Avalanches, and The Tragically Hip; after it closed, Scene 23 tried to move to Atlantic, but when that didn’t work, they broke up. Member Josh Henderson is modeling, acting, and trying to go solo. Boy band O-Town turned down a fourth season of Making the Band, leading the way for the hip-hop edition of the show that Bunim-Murray is currently casting. The group will release their second album Oct. 1, and are currently touring. Finally, Flickerstick, which actually existed before its appearance on TV as part of Bands on the Run, is still touring.
