The AP’s Chelsea J. Carter looks at Bands on the Run, and talks to some of the shows participants. Four bands compete for $50,000 and a music video as they travel to various venues, performing and promoting themselves using a $20 a day budget. Bands who have the least amount of money left over get booted.
