Adam Mesh gets his revenge tonight when Average Joe: Adam Returns, the third season of the series, debuts on NBC at 10 p.m. ET. Thousands of e.mail messages from women who thought Melana picked the wrong guy and wanted the rejected man for themselves led NBC to extend the series. Frighteningly, Adam tells Zap2it.com, “I feel more comfortable dating people on a show than I do in real life now.” Rather than screw him over with a series of twists, producer Andrew Glassman says their “No. 1 goal in this show is we want to give Adam and the viewers the romantic, happy ending so many people think he deserves.”
