After her revelation that she’d once dated Fabio and his subsequent freak out, you’d think that Average Joe 2: Hawaii’s Larissa Meek and Gil Hyatt never saw each other again. But you’d be wrong. Larissa tells us on her web site, “Gil and I are still together…He is a truly a wonderful, caring, and sweet individual, with a depth that was not captured by the moment in front of a camera lens.” If you want photographic proof, Larissa has pictures of the two of them, including one of her and what appears to be Gil’s corpse. Seriously, though, she and Gil are so happy together that he’s inspired her art, particularly The Embrace, which Larissa says “was captured from the stolen moments I spent visiting Gil in Fort Lauderdale” and which features Larissa hugging a Fabio-looking Gil; you can buy it for $7,000. Larissa isn’t the show’s only artist: As reader Jess noticed, both Tony Calandra and Mike Spitaletto have artwork for sale on their sites.
