PBS plans “An American Family: The Final Episode” focusing on Lance Loud’s final days.
Nearly 30 years after the series first aired, PBS will air a follow-up special, called An American Family: The Final Episode. It chronicles the final days of series star Lance Loud, who died in Dec. but first asked the series’ original directors to record the follow-up footage. He wanted to “lay to rest certain myths” about himself and his relationship with his family.
