A mediocre singer did not win America’s Got Talent, but another mediocre act did
The seventh season of America’s Got Talent ended its excruciatingly long season by giving $1 million to an act that was not a medicore singer like it has every other season. Instead, it went to a mediocre animal act, Olate Dogs. Truly a shocking ending!
The runner-up wasn’t even a singer: it was comedian Tom Cotter, the first-ever comedian to make it to the finals. His final set got a tepid response, mostly, from the live audience, although at the end they seemed to warm up, and Howard Stern loved it (!). But hey, Tom Cotter mentioned how Donald Duck has no pants—I’ve never heard that before.
Here’s the act that won $1 million and that Howie called the “most amazing, best animal act I have ever seen.” (Never been to a circus, Howie?) Just wait until you see a dog walk underneath something! Talent!
