America’s Got Talent renewed as injured man performs
NBC’s summer talent competition America’s Got Talent has unsurprisingly been renewed for a fourth season. The series “is the most-watched show of the summer and ranked third among programs in the adults 18 to 49 demographic,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday’s episode, opera singer Donald Braswell joined the top 40 thanks to viewer votes, filling a slot vacated by the Russian Bar Trio after one of its members was injured and the group had to drop out.
And the man who lost consciousness during rehearsals for the show earlier this week performed last night but will probably quickly be eliminated because his act, well, sucked. George the Giant became a human pinata and was beaten by children while chained and hanging upside-down.
