America's Got Talent 2

The Hoff, the Muppets will perform on America’s Got Talent 2 finale

The second season of America’s Got Talent comes to an end tonight starting at 9 p.m. ET as one act gets $1 million. The final four are singing ventriloquist Terry Fator, country singer Julienne Irwin, singer Cas Haley, and beatboxing singer Butterscotch. Notice a pattern?

USA TODAY talks to the finalists to learn what they’ll do if they lose. Fator has a gig in Las Vegas; Cas will be “touring the nation, playing every city that I can”; Julienne says, “I can’t even believe I’m here, so it’s already winning for me”; and Butterscotch says she’ll “do an inner-city tour to teach kids who can’t afford regular instruments about beatboxing and how it got started.”

The two-hour finale will be, of course, padded with pointless content, including “special appearances by Sean Kingston, Taylor Swift, UB40, The Muppets and more,” according to NBC. The top 10 will perform again, and there will also be “performances by Stomp Out Loud and The Hoff.” Yes, judge David Hasselhoff will sing.
