Simon Cowell is throwing his weight behind Paula Abdul, although he admits he doesn’t have much weight when it comes to renewing her contract. He told Extra, “She’ll be fine. She’ll be on the show. … I don’t get a lot of say. I’ve just made it clear that I want Paula on the show.”

Of course he does: Without Paula to rudely screw around with, Simon would be even more bored than he is now. Besides, whose vagina would he fondle?
