Paula Abdul has no deal, “still [hasn’t] heard from the producers”

Paula Abdul’s return to American Idol 9 is still not happening, as she just wrote on Twitter, “I have not made a deal w/ #IDOL.Don’t know how that rumor got started but it’s not true as I still haven’t heard from the producers.”

Two anonymously sourced reports claim she’s just holding out for more money: Radar claims Paula wants $20 million but the producers are offering $10 million, while TMZ claims “somewhere between 2 and 3 times what she’s making now,” which they say is “between $2 and $3 mil a year.” That’s quite the difference, but what else can you expect from gossip magazines that use anonymous sources?
