Ozzy Osbourne was going to perform on the American Idol 6 finale, but “but canceled at the last minute,” according to Page Six.
An “insider” says that he quit “when he learned he would have to do a duet with Sanjaya. Ozzie [sic] said he didn’t want to be onstage with that idiot.” The person also says Ozzy referred to Sanjaya as “a hairstyle-challenged idiot.”
Ultimately, Aerosmith’s Joe Perry performed with Sanjaya during the finale, but it’s too bad Ozzy didn’t suggest using the opportunity to bite Sanjaya’s head off. I’m sure the producers would have been excited about that.
