“He is a good kisser and I would do it again,” she said, according to People magazine’s account of the conversation. A reporter then asked “How were his lips?” and LaKisha said they “were really soft and thin.”
As to her fourth-place finish, LaKisha said, “Only thing I can say is look at Chris Daughtry,” according to USA TODAY.
She also said that it was hard to live up to expectations, especially with the changing themes. “I believe that everyone wanted that ‘I’m Telling You’ moment every week, and when you’re singing different genres of music and because it’s such a different style of music, those styles don’t necessarily have that big song that everyone’s expecting every week,” she said.
