ArchivesTuesday’s Idol Gives Back episode of American Idol, which was essentially just a regular performance episode, was watched by 25.7 million viewers.
That’s “likely its lowest Tuesday numbers of the season,” Variety reports. And its numbers were “down between 13% and 15% vs. the same night a year ago.”
Still, among viewers ages 18 to 49, the show “matched the combined 18-49 deliveries of the next five highest-rated nets (CBS, Univision, CW, ABC and NBC).” And it still won the hour, as usual. Variety says that “no other net was really able to take advantage of the decline” as othert shows “were down as well.”
