Carrie Underwood is the first female to win the ACM Awards’ entertainer of the year twice

Carrie Underwood was named the entertainer of the year at the Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday night—the show that preempted The Amazing Race—and because she also won that award last year, she “made history … becoming the first woman to win entertainer of the year twice,” the AP reports. She also won a triple crown award for being named top newcomer, top female vocalist, and entertainer of the year at various points during her career.

Meanwhile, Celebrity Apprentice product placement Luke Bryan won the award for best new artist. I didn’t watch, but I’m guessing he didn’t look anything like he did after Bret Michaels’ makeover.
