ArchivesCarrie Underwood’s award show dominance continues, as she won three CMT awards last night.
She won Female Video of the Year and Video of the Year for “Before He Cheats,” and that video was also recognized for Video Director of the Year; CMT viewers vote for the winners.
After winning Video of the Year, Carrie said, “It was at the CMT Awards last year that I gave my very first acceptance speech ever. Let me tell you, it’s great to be up here again. Thank you, fans. I’ve had such an amazing, blessed two years. I started out on a fan-based show, and you guys have continued to support me throughout everything.”
Last year, Carrie was named CMA vocalist of the year, and won five Billboard awards. Earlier this year, she won three Grammys.
