Mario Vazquez, American Idol quitter, has a new single and upcoming album
American Idol 4 quitter Mario Vazquez has a new single that “was shipped to radio stations this week, in two versions — one in English and another in Spanish,” according to the New York Post.
That song, “Gallery,” is, Mario says, about unrequited desire. Uh huh. “I don’t want to give too much away, but lyrically it’s just longing love, lost love, wanting love,” he told MTV.com. Despite being such a loser, Mario has been “working with Soulshock and Karlin (Usher), the Underdogs (Fantasia) and Lester Mendez (Shakira) … [and] recently logged studio time with Ne-Yo, Scott Storch, the Luney Tunes (Don Omar) and Kerry ‘Krucial’ Brothers.”
MTV.com reports that his “still-untitled album is tentatively set for a mid-summer release. Mario hopes to tour around that time.” Mario probably also hopes someone on the planet still cares.
