Constantine fans want a recount.
Constantine fans are revolting by signing an online petition that they admit is likely to be read by no one. Annoyed that Constantine was voted off American Idol 4 last week, According to the Boston Herald’s The Edge, “36,000 ‘American Idol’ fans have signed an online petition demanding a recount of Fox’s top-rated nationwide singing contest.” A University of South Carolina sophomore, who should be studying for finals, created the petition. Kristie Layne Womick admits, however, that this will have little effect: “I don’t really think they’re going to do anything. It’s just getting our voice out there that matters.” Alas, the Boston Herald neglects to provide a link to the petition, so we can’t sign it or make fun of the people who did.
