Mario hires Clay Aiken’s lawyer as 2004 album featuring his vocals is re-released.
In less than a week Mario Vazquez has gone from American Idol 4 finalist to overexposed quasi-celebrity, and now he has a lawyer. Clay Aiken’s lawyer, to be specific. According to FOX News’ 411, Mario “has gotten Atlanta entertainment lawyer Jess L. Rosen to represent him. Coincidentally—or not, depending on how you look at it—Rosen is most famous for extricating Aiken from his octopus-tentacled ‘American Idol’ management contract with Simon Fuller’s 19 Entertainment last year.” In perhaps related news, FOX News’ Roger Friedman also found that Mario is featured on an album re-released last week. Mario “sings several pop songs as the only guest vocalist on “Worlds of Change,” by an Argentine flamenco and R&B guitarist named Cesar. Friedman says Mario “may have jeopardized his ‘amateur’ status by being featured on an album that’s already been released.”
