Idol 4 down to 24 semi-finalists.
And then there were 24: 12 men and 12 women remain on American Idol 4, and they’ll compete against each other until half of their ranks are eliminated. Next week begins Idol’s three-night-per-week schedule. The men will face off on Monday nights (at 8 p.m. ET), the women on Tuesday nights (also at 8 p.m. ET), and four people will go home every Wednesday night (at 9 p.m. ET). This will continue for three weeks, until just 12 finalists remain.
