ArchivesBo Bice has again been hospitalized, apparently due to complications form the surgery he had in August to deal with intestine blockage.
Yesterday, he started “coughing up blood” in Las Vegas rehearsing for tonight’s Radio Music Awards, and “he was taken out on a stretcher and brought to Desert Springs Hospital, where his wife Caroline kept him company through the night,” People magazine reports.
RCA Records released a statement that said Bo is returning to Nashville:
In what appears to be a complication from a previous surgery, Bo was rushed to the hospital yesterday. He is doing fine and is returning home for treatment. He is canceling his performance on the Radio Music Awards (Monday night) and Jimmy Kimmel Live (Tuesday).”
A friend of his told People, “Bo is really bummed. His record is just coming out and he was so excited to perform.” Yeah, he’s probably bummed about missing a gig, not about the whole coughing-up-blood thing.
