ArchivesBo Bice opted for tennis shoes instead of cowboy boots while performing in New Hampshire on Sunday, and as a result, he broke his foot and twisted his ankle. His injury won’t affect his participation in the current Idols tour, though.
He tells People, “As far as (continuing) the tour is concerned, there’s nothing to worry about. There’s no keeping me from the tour.” Considering he traveled to Ohio before getting medical attention, that definitely seems to be the case.
Why was he without his boots? Bo says, “I run around the stage a lot, and normally I wear the boots. Except three or four shows ago they started to slip.” But he discovered that, as he says, “Tennis shoes rip.”
