Ryan Seacrest has begun his 12-day invasion of your media space. This past weekend, Ryan took over the mike from Casey Kasem on American Top 40. It’s web site has already excised Casey and has added bitchy comments about Ryan, saying FOX has a “master plan to have Ryan on TV 24 hours a day.” Lest you think there’s no good to come from Ryan getting even more air time, a Q&A with the Times reveals that the “request and dedication” segment is leaving the show, to be replaced by interviews and performances. Today, his daily, hour-long entertainment show On Air with Ryan Seacrest debuts (check local listings for air times). Next week, of course, is the three-evening debut of American Idol 3, hosted by none other than Brian Dunkleman. I mean, Ryan Seacrest.
