Ryan Seacrest takes over KIIS radio morning show from Rick Dees.
Ryan Seacrest announced yesterday with Britney Spears (watch the announcement) that he’s taking over yet another job from a famous radio personality. Starting “soon,” he’ll host Rick Dees’ KIIS 102.7 FM morning show. Dees signed off permanently Tuesday, although he’ll still do his Top 40 show. (Sing it together: “Rick Dees, and the weekly top four-tee!”) While Ryan quit his afternoon drive-time show on Star 98.7, he’ll still have four entertainment industry jobs: hosting the KIIS morning show, hosting American Idol 3, hosting and producing On Air With Ryan Seacrest live every weekday, and hooking up with Sim— I mean, hosting American Top 40 every weekend. He’ll barely have time to tweeze.
