Those who think John Stevens is “Satan’s most promising young emissary”, sent to earth to destroy the show, can rest in peace tonight. A record 28 million people voted after Tuesday night’s American Idol 3 episode, leading to a flip of last week’s controversial voting results, and the 16-year-old went home. “Fantasia Barrino and La Toya London, in the bottom three last week, came out on top, along with Diana DeGarmo. George Huff and Jasmine Trias joined Stevens at the tail end of this week’s tally,” USA TODAY reports. So there’s a lesson here: If people actually, like, vote, the candidates that most people like will win. Amazing.
